Talking With Tris Munsick About His Upcoming Beartrap Appearance

Beartrap is only a month away (give or take a few days) and we were happy to catch Tris Munsick on the phone as he traveled across Wyoming with his band members.

We chatted about his childhood in Sheridan Wyoming and his brand new video for his single "Tightrope"

Tris agreed that this song, that tells the story of a rodeo clown, has a bit of a mournful tone to it. The music video was filmed in his home town of Sheridan, Wyoming so look closely because you may see someone you know.

Tris Munsick and The Innocents will be playing at Beartrap Summer Festival on Casper Mountain on Sunday, August 4th at 1:00. When we asked him if he could handle a hail storm (check out this video footage from last year's storm) Tris assured us that he and his band are Wyoming tough.

Tris Munsick and The Innocents are known for putting on a great live show. My family and I had a chance to listen to him at Deer Creek Days this year and I can vouch that you won't be able to keep off the dance floor once they start playing. Even my kids were out there swing dancing and two-stepping.
