TEDxCasperLive Today at Iris Theater

TED is a nonprofit organization focused on spreading "Ideas Worth Spreading".  In that spirit TED has created the TEDx program, which is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.  TEDx is happening today Feb. 27th, 2013 in Casper at the Iris 8 Theater.

TED started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.  The idea has expanded since then to global conference and video sites.  Now the experience is available in Casper for one day only.    The event is called TEDxCasperLive, where x=independently organized TED event. At the TEDxCasperLive event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The event is free, and you can reserve your spot by RSVP-ing one of the sessions below, or you can get your ticket at the Iris 8 box office.  Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat.   Four sessions are available through out today.
