Throwback Thursday – Watch the 1971 Casper Troopers Performance at the VFW Nationals [VIDEO]
Seems like I see it everywhere - "Throwback Thursdays" - where everyone posts old photos or videos from days gone by.
I've never really gotten into the whole "Throwback" thing until just today. I was watching a couple of different YouTube videos when on my list of suggested videos came up this performance of the 1971 Casper Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps at the VFW National Championships at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX. The performance was captured on 8mm home movie by Gene Castles and Joseph Valdes and converted to digital video by Tinkernocker Productions.
The Casper Troopers finished 4th in the Prelims and 2 in the Finals. Enjoy this awesome performance!
