What To Expect At TroopCon 2026 In Casper, Wyoming

The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps has called Casper, WY, home since 1957, and they're just about to launch into their 2026 summer competitive season. They'll get everyone fired up with Troopcon. The weeklong event kicks off on Sunday, June 21, in Casper and wraps up on Saturday, June 27, in Ft Collins.

Members of the nationally renowned and award-winning marching music ensemble have been in Casper rehearsing for the month of June and will be on the road through August.

TroopCon2026 will celebrate the corps and its Casper relationships as well as kick off the summer performance season. Special events will take place June 21-26 and include a variety of fun, educational, musical, and historical activities.

Like the previous TroopCon held in Casper, the 2026 edition includes everything from standstill concerts to a behind-the-scenes camp. New this year is TroopReunion, an evening reception on June 23 for the recognition of the corps’s first-ever Distinguished Alumni recipients.

Casper families are encouraged to consider TroopCon’s free evening concert at Fort Caspar on June 24. Or, they may wish to take advantage of an all-age, family-friendly bingo session earlier that day at Troopers Bingo Hall.

The Troopers organization expects to welcome fans, alumni, and family members from well beyond Wyoming throughout TroopCon and the days leading up to the event. Attendees will join the 200+ members and staff already spending time in Casper. Attendees will be encouraged to visit shops, restaurants, and more during the TroopTOWN Tour.
