As many of you know, I'm a busy Mom of three boys.  That keeps me on my toes!  When I do actually get a moment to sit down and relax, I like to check out Pinterest.  I do a lot of pinning, but until tonight, I have never actually tried any of the pins I have pinned. This year for Valentine's day, my son Jayce who is in the 4th grade, wanted to do something different, so we  looked over some ideas and came up with a few things we wanted to do for his class party.

We started with his Valentine's.  There were so many great ideas and he ended up deciding on a robot. Here's how they turned out:

I think they turned out great and they were simple, we just used smarties, starburst, boxes of conversation hearts and a hot glue gun.  ( I did burn my finger, so be careful!)

Then we wanted to do a teachers gift, and we came across this:

This was simple too, we didn't do ours exactly like the picture but it still turned out great!  We just bought a pink tumbler and filled it with pink goodies like a pen, pencil, chapstick, gum, keychain, nail polish, candy, etc.

And finally, Jayce needed a Valentine box.  We check out  a lot of different things and they gave us a lot of ideas, and ultimately,  we decided on a monster.  We didn't use one specific design, but here's what we came up with:

We had a lot of fun and I can see us trying a lot more stuff when I get some more time soon!  Do you use Pinterest?  What's your favorite thing to use it for?
