Truck Stolen From Cheyenne Business, Set on Fire [VIDEO]
Cheyenne police are searching for a man suspected of stealing a truck, driving it through multiple fences and setting it on fire.
Officer Kevin Malatesta says a truck with a plow on the front was stolen from Capital City Landscaping's enclosed lot at 1002 W. 17th Street around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
"The stolen truck was then driven through a fence at that business and through fences at the 1100 block of Dunn and the 1100 block of E. Lincolnway," said Malatesta. "A piece of fence also damaged a parked vehicle in a nearby parking lot."
"The stolen truck was abandoned and appears to have been intentionally set on fire in the alley of the 2100 block of E. 13th Street," he added.
Surveillance videos from the area show a white male with short hair, wearing a dark jacket and light colored pants entering a separate vehicle before the truck was stolen.
Anyone who recognizes the man or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the police at (307) 637-6525.
