We Love To Celebrate With Holiday Candy In Wyoming
A popular Christmas tradition many families have is making Christmas candy and cookies.
If you don't make it, you surely like to eat it. The types, shapes, flavors and difficulty levels vary, but the result is the same... happiness.
My mom, sisters, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews get together a couple weeks before Christmas Day, to make their wide array of candies and cookies. They'll box it up and take it around to friends and neighbors to show their holiday spirit.
With all the different types, how do you actually decide what candy to make? The list of options is really long. Some are easier than others, but sometimes people will make the difficult kinds, just to show off their candy making skills.
My Christmas Candy favorites are:
Other Popular Favorites are:
- White Candy/ Peppermint Bark
- Rum Balls
- Oreo Balls
- Peppermint Patties
- Chocolate Pretzel Sticks
- Chocolate Dipped Candy Canes
- Salted Peanut Rolls
- Carmel Pretzel Bites
Here in Wyoming, Divinity, Fudge, Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes) and Peanut Brittle are all mentioned more than others when reading through the answers of our survey. Some of those popular candies are easier to make than others, so Wyomingites cover the difficulty level.
Take a look at the Christmas Candy that some of our listeners enjoy making and eating around the Holiday's.
If you're having a tough time getting into the Holiday Spirit, there's a good chance making or eating Christmas candy will get you there.
