Race fans are getting rev'd up as the kick off of the 2013 NASCAR racing season is this weekend with the 55th running of the Daytona 500.  With the NASCAR racing season getting underway, local race teams are currently putting the finishing touches on their cars in anticipation of the 2013 Casper Speedway racing season.

When does the 2013 Season start at Casper Speedway?

 

Casper Speedway's 2013 racing season is set to start on May 17th with 5 classes racing that evening. The Dwarf Cars, Midwest Modifieds,  Mod 4s, Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks will all be in action that night.

A driver's meeting is scheduled for Saturday March 10th, with a show and shine / Thankful Thursday fundraiser scheduled for Thursday May 9th.  Everyone is invited to attend the Test and Tune at Casper Speedway on Saturday May 11th.

The racing season starts on Friday, May 17th and will then continue every Friday night throughout the summer with the season concludes on Championship night, August 30th.

New this year will be 2 two night race events that have been added to the schedule.  The first will be July 4th and 5th (Thurs&Fri) when the track will host a two day race event.  Then the other will be a 2 day Modified Madness race scheduled for Sept. 20th and 21st, sponsored by Trinidad Drilling.

The season schedule includes the usual mid-season break on the weekend of July 12th, with no races scheduled as it falls during the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo.

Admission to the races this year will cost $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, Children 12 and under are free.

Casper Speedway is a half mile semi banked oval, located north of the Casper Events Center on Events Drive at the intersection with Bryan Stock Trail.
