Wyoming High School Girls Wrestlers Ready for State Title Matches
The championship matches at the first sanctioned Wyoming High School Girls Wrestling State Championships are set for Friday night.
Through the semifinals, Star Valley leads the team standings at 131 points. Pinedale is in second with 113 points, while Kelly Walsh is third at 82 points.
The girls’ finals will be on Mat No. 5 at the bowl end of the Ford Wyoming Center.

The championship matches begin at 7 p.m.
The day starts at approximately 11 a.m. with the consolation semifinal. The placing matches for third and fifth place are at approximately 1 p.m.
There are 50 schools represented by over 200 wrestlers at the inaugural state championships.
