Wyoming Second Grader In The Running for Doodle 4 Google Contest
Each year around the nation, students submit their own unique drawings to Google for their chance to win scholarships and prizes. They are asked to draw what inspires them for the Doodle 4 Google contest. This year a second grader from Stocktrail Elementary School in Gillette has made her way into the voting round of the competition.
I feel free in the ocean! I can twist and flip like all the little fishes. I feel like I can do anything. I wish I could breathe underwater so I could dive deep down to find treasures!
You can vote for your favorite Doodle now through May 18th. Four doodles with the most votes will go to the final round where a panel of judges will pick the winner. The finalists will all receive a $5000 scholarship, a trip to Google Headquarters, Google Hardware, and Google Swag. The national winner will receive a $30,000 scholarship, and a $50,000 tech package for their school or organization.
