The Wyoming Wilderness Association is excited to be hosting a free Saturday adventure into Dry Medicine Lodge Canyon with veteran hikers Edith Heyward and Don Crecelius.

Saturday June, 9th, Heyward and Crecelius will lead an 8-mile expedition along a serene creek bed of cottonwood, prickly roses, juniper and box elder that winds its way to a narrow canyon path. Eventually, the brushy and rough passage through the wild canyon will lead hikers to a rewarding, spectacular limestone arch. Hikers will also have the opportunity to explore BLM land that possesses a designated WSA (Wilderness Study Area) as well as LWC (Land with Wilderness Characteristics).

Wyoming Wilderness Association encourages everyone to take advantage of the summer, get out and explore the wild parts of Wyoming, and find out what makes this state and its wilderness areas so special.
