Wyoming’s Chancey Williams Has New Music And Busy Summer Plans
The summer season is one of the busiest and toughest stretches of the year for a touring country music artist, and Chancey Williams is about to prove that. Long, late nights, riding the band and crew on a tour bus, writing and recording music, and doing multiple shows every week is a demanding life.
Looking at Chancey's recently released tour dates, the band will not have much downtime. The Miles On Me Tour will kick off May 23 in Grand Junction, CO., and make stops in Wyoming (including Casper on May 29), Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Utah, Missouri, Idaho, and New Mexico.
Looking at the list of shows to kick off the summer, you'll notice the July 23rd date in Cheyenne. Chancey will return to the Daddy of 'em all, Cheyenne Frontier Nights stage to play with Brooks & Dunn.
He recently released his song, "Take One for the Team." Chancey describes it as a "fun song with humor in it." You can get a "Take One for the Team" sample below, listen to the full version, and download it wherever you get your music.
Chancey took to social media to describe the fun, humor, and strategy behind making the song.
You guys remember in the 90s and early 2000s when you could do a little bit of humor in country music without offending everybody? Toby Keith was great at it! This is one of those.
If you're not following Chancey on social media, his website, or music download or streaming sites, you can do it all RIGHT HERE.
