Sign Up Now For Birds n Bucks in Casper

Years ago, Casper radio legend Brian Scott heard that some families might not have a turkey for Thanksgiving, so he knew he needed to do something to help them out.  That's exactly what he did, too. That year, the Birds N Bucks program began to collect money and turkeys for Casper families.

This year, with the government and some of the programs many count on to receive food shut down, there's likely going to be a higher number of folks who need assistance with food.

All of us here at Townsquare Media Casper are proud to announce that on Friday, November 21, 2025, we will be collecting Birds n Bucks at Walmart East in Casper from 7 am to 7 pm. My Country 95.5's Drew Kirby, 104.7 KISS-FM's DJ Nyke, and K2 Radio & Wake Up Wyoming's Glenn Woods will be on site, along with Casper Housing Authority Cares and other fantastic volunteers, collecting items for 12 straight hours.

If you're wondering, it's called Birds n Bucks because we not only take turkey donations but also accept monetary donations to help cover any other food items that may be needed.

We understand that not everyone may be able to donate because they need assistance themselves, so we have open registration for those families. This year, the food distribution will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 10 am to 12 pm at 1514 East 12th Street (Lifesteps Campus).
