Veterans from Wyoming are heading to Washington, D.C., today to visit the Nation's Capital. This trip will be filled with emotion and honor and bring back old memories while creating new ones.

You're invited to attend the send-off at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this morning. If you'd like to give this group of veterans a send-off they'll never forget, you can start lining up with your cars, trucks, hot rods, American/ Wyoming flags, posters, and banners at 9:30 a.m.

You're encouraged to line North Poplar St between the NHTIC and Ramkota Hotel to wave and cheer as the bus heads to South I 25.

The group will be given a police escort by Casper PD and head to Denver for an overnight stay before boarding a flight to Washington, D.C. When they arrive, the group will visit the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, changing the guard ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary, Women in Service Memorial, and the Udvar-Hazy Center before returning home.
