Get Ready For An Evening Of Tunes At Edness K. Wilkins Park
Fall is coming, and there's still time to get out and explore in Wyoming's State Parks. If you're looking for an easy hike, plus a chance to relax and listen to music, Edness K. Wilkins State Park and the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation have an event coming that you'll want to check out.
Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources is pleased to present Kaspen Haley & Boxelder Stomp as part of the 2025 Tunes on the Trail concert series. This new initiative blends live acoustic music with outdoor recreation in Wyoming’s scenic state parks.
The Tunes on the Trail concert series has been taking place throughout the summer at various state parks around the state. The first was at Keyhole in June, followed by Curt Gowdy in July, Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site in August, and the last of the summer is at Edness K. Wilkins on Saturday, September 20, beginning at 5 p.m.
The evening will begin with a guided light hike, followed by live music from Casper's own Kaspen Haley & Boxelder Stomp.
Linley Palazzolo, superintendent of Edness K. Wilkins State Park, is excited for Thursday to get here.
Tunes on the Trail is such a unique experience at Wyoming State Parks. Even though we’re just minutes from Casper, when you’re walking our trails and listening to live music with the river and wildlife around you, it feels like you’ve completely escaped into nature. We’re thrilled to be hosting the season's final event here at the park, and we can’t wait to welcome the community out to enjoy this special evening with us.
Admission is free, but the standard $7 per vehicle day-use fees apply.
There will be limited seating available, so you are encouraged to bring your own chairs and blankets to sit in, as well as snacks & drinks. If you plan on hiking, be prepared with the necessary hiking gear for a comfortable hike.
