If you take your kids to Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park for a summer fun day, you will be a superstar parent. School will be back in session before you know it, and taking them to EKW Day will be exactly what the doctor ordered. The day is going to be jam-packed with things to do. Like:

  • Cornhole
  • Slip-n-slide
  • Kite making & flying
  • Furs and Skulls
  • Shaved Ice

The only charge is the park admission fee, which is $7 per vehicle for Wyoming residents and $12 for non-residents. Northern Ice Shaved, a food truck, will also sell shaved ice at the park.

Don't miss out on this cool end-of-summer bash on Saturday, 8/10.

E.K.W. State Park is the Perfect Picnic Spot, 6 miles east of Casper on the old Glenrock highway, 20/26. There are over 40 picnic sites, and a perfect way to spend time with the family.

After this event, there will only be one more fun outing before school starts: Paddle on the Pond on Thursday, 8/15. If you don't have much experience on a paddle board, kayak, or canoe, here's a great opportunity to learn in a safe and relaxing environment.
