Great Times Are Coming To Wyoming’s E.K.W. State Park

Summer is looking great at Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park. Not long ago, it was announced that the park's cabins are ready to be rented, and reservations are being taken.

Now, this summer's list of program dates is available. Multiple programs and opportunities are available for families every month from the third week of May through the third week of September.

Not only does the park have these programs scheduled, but activities are always available throughout the summer.

You can have a picnic lunch or grill burgers for dinner between swimming, fishing, and floating on the lake. Then, take a family hike around the park's 2.8 miles of hard-surfaced paths. Watch the birds and wildlife, and stick around to see the beautiful Wyoming stars.

If you've never been to the park, it's easy to find. From Casper, head east on the old Highway towards Glenrock. Your day of fun and excitement will be on your left in about six miles.

Remember to pay for day use or purchase your annual park pass. If you're going to Edness or any other state park this summer, it's worth it. You can go online now and purchase your annual day-use camping pass or both if you plan to check out the State Parks and camping for the 2025 season.
