Summer around Wyoming is a blast, and there's a huge event coming June 6-8. It's the 28th Annual Central Wyoming Machine Gun and Cannon Shoot, and a fantastic time.

The shoot is exactly what the name says but multiplied by 1,000. If you're a gun enthusiast and enjoy seeing things blow up, this event is right up your alley.

CWMG Shoot allows everyone to come out to the Garret Ranch Company and spend the weekend camping, shooting, and hanging out with other folks who love to blow stuff up.

You're not only getting out and using the Second Amendment to good use but also supporting H.D. Outdoors and our veterans. Proceeds from the weekend go to the organization that offers veterans a 100% all-inclusive outdoor experience.

You can come out for one day or the entire weekend because weekend passes are just $20. If you'd like to bring your camper or tent, it's only $40 for the weekend. It's dry camping, so no hookups are available, but porta-potties are available.

The weekend is also great if you have served in the military and haven't held or fired a machine gun or cannon since you left the service. Machine gun rentals are available, and you can get wrapped up in conversation after conversation with people who love talking firepower.

Multiple tactical and gun rental companies will be on-site to assist you with any firearm request. Firearms from the last 150+ years will be on the grounds.

Targets are placed throughout the "battlefield," like propane tanks, fire extinguishers, bowling ball mortars, dynamite reactive targets, and occasionally kitchen appliances to shoot. You won't want to miss the fireworks, mad minute tracer shots, and maybe your only chance ever to shoot a machine gun.
