Cheyenne Depot Plaza Hosts Free Ice Skating For Holidays

A temporary 40-foot-by 60-foot ice rink will be assembled near the north part of Cheyenne Depot Plaza, open from December 14 to January 3, 2017.

Wyomingites will be able to skate and rent skates for free, courtesy of the Downtown Development Authority. The DDA’s hope is this encourages people to come downtown during the holidays to shop, and eat.

Maybe also this New Year’s Eve will be more fun with a little ice skating.

The DDA is asking for volunteers to help at the rink. For more information, call 307-433-9730.
