Coroner Releases Name of North Casper Shooting Victim
The Natrona County Coroner released the name of the man who died in a shooting in north Casper early Friday morning, according to a news release.
The 29-year-old man who died at a residence in the 1200 block of North Center Street about 4 a.m. on Friday has been identified as Wesley Willow, Jr., of Casper, Coroner Connie Jacobson said in the news release Saturday.
Casper Police reported officers responded to the address about 4:12 a.m. for the report of a subject who had been shot.
Upon arrival, they secured the scene and located a male subject who was subsequently pronounced dead.
The shooting is currently being investigated, and there is no known threat to the community.
Later Friday, police announced one person was taken into custody.
It is not known whether the suspect has been charged with any crime.
