Flood Advisory for Natrona County
THE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
645 PM MDT FOR EAST CENTRAL NATRONA COUNTY
Casper Police report that the rain Casper has received has caused some problems with roads. N. McKinley and E. Street and the railroad bridge area is flooded along with Poplar and Collins and 2nd and Blackmore. I-25 access at Beverly is also closed. Please stay away from these areas.
At 524 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported minor street
flooding in Casper and Evansville. One area of minor flooding was
along Wyoming Boulevard near the I-25 underpass. Peak rainfall was
estimated to range from 1.0 to 1.5 inches, with more common amounts
around 0.5 inches in and around the city of Casper. The urban and
small stream flooding is likely to continue through at least 630 PM.

Casper, Mills, Evansville, Bar Nunn, Red Butte, Homa Hills, Antelope
Hills, Edness K Wilkins State Park, and Casper Mountain.
This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 176 and 208.
Additional rainfall should be less than one-quarter inch as the
heaviest showers and storms are moving north of Casper.
