They're taking the fight against hunger on the road. Wyoming Food For Thought Project is raising funds to turn an old school bus into a Mobile Farmer's Market, to bring healthy food into the areas of the community that need it most.

They already have the 1988 International School Bus, and now have launched a Crowdrise campaign to make it road-ready. The campaign goal is to raise at least $10,000 to help with the refurbishing and operating of the market for the first year.

“As we continue to look at innovative solutions, we know that removing barriers to access for everyone in our community is the first of many steps we will take. The Mobile Market gives us the power to bring good and food to every neighborhood in our county,” says Food for Thought Director Jamie Purcell.

The mobile market will feature locally produced food and will accept SNAP, credit cards, and cash. To donate to the Mobile Market project, just click on the button below.
