If you're looking for some family-friendly fun, this is the event you don't want to miss.

David Street Station is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest for all ages.

The event will be held at David Street Station on Saturday, October 28th from 12 pm until 3pm, conveniently scheduled between the Downtown Casper Business Association’s Trick-or-Treating and the Science Zone’s Trick-or-Treat Trail. Registration for competitors starts at noon, and there are a limited number of spots available. Up to 10 people per age category will be allowed to join the competition.

The entire event is FREE.  The community is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The David Street Station Costume Contest contestants will be judged on several factors, including creativity, detail, quality and construction and difficulty. The contest will take place on the Brian Scott Gamroth Community Stage and custom-made medals will be awarded to the first place winner of each age category.  Categories are as follows: ages 0-4, 5-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21+, themed group of up to 6 people and themed duos of 2 people.

The McMurry Companies, in their continued support of community events, will be on-site providing hot dogs, chips and drinks to kids at no cost, while supplies last.
