Have Your Kids Ever Caused Massive Damage to Your Home?

I've heard people say that having kids will destroy your life, but they failed to mention that they will destroy your home as well.

I'm not talking about scuffed furniture, walls covered in Sharpe maker, or a constantly crumb covered floor (though these are all #parentingtruths). I'm talking about those unforeseen disasters that cause thousands of dollars of damage that take weeks to repair.

I speak from personal experience. Last week my 5-year-old left an outdoor water hose on for several hours. The result was a flooded basement.

My family of seven is now living in 1,500 square ft, with no TV...keep me in your thoughts.

I could use some support, tell me I'm not the only one that has experienced damage this severe caused by a kid!
