Two new teams and a new No. 1 in the 4A girls’ division highlight the second WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Polls of the 2024 season. The other top-ranked teams held their spot from the preseason poll to these second rankings. The number of teams receiving votes did expand, especially in 4A girls’ soccer.

WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER RANKINGS: MARCH 20, 2024

Jackson edged out defending champion Kelly Walsh by three points in the voting for the top spot in the 4A girls’ poll. The Broncs earned eight first-place votes compared to the Trojans’ seven first-place votes. One fifth-place vote proved to be the difference. Campbell County’s 2-0 start last weekend impressed enough voters that the Camels jumped into the rankings at No. 3. Thunder Basin held in the fourth spot. Cheyenne East moved into fifth after a 2-0 start to their season. Seven more 4A teams earned at least one vote in the poll.

Cody was a unanimous pick for the top spot in 3A girls’ soccer. The Fillies received all 16 first-place votes. The rest of the top five remained the same. Worland was second, followed by Powell, Douglas, and Buffalo.
