Casper’s Easiest Way To Help Great Local Charities

Over the years, many Casper area charity organizations have spent Thursday evenings at the Beacon Club in Mills raising money to help them continue to grow. The 2024 Thankful Thursday giving begins on February 22 and will last until the first part of May.

On the schedule this Spring, we have ten great Casper area organizations raising money with our fun, family-filled evenings at the Beacon Club. The full schedule is posted below, and we will update it weekly to ensure you know when each organization will be featured.

Townsquare Media and the Beacon have been the driving force to give organizations making a difference all over central Wyoming a platform to fundraise and make money for their causes.

Along the way, many current and former My Country 95.5/Townsquare Media personalities have invited the entire Casper area to go Sneakin' to the Beacon and be a part of this monumental evening known as Thankful Thursday.

Since the beginning, the Beacon Club has hosted these magical nights. Even though things slowed down in 2020 & early 2021, the Beacon Club and Townsquare Media kept the drive alive. For the first time in over 30 years, the Beacon Club has changed hands, but that isn't changing our mission...supporting our community.

By the time 2024 ends, 20 more 501c3 organizations from across the region will have benefitted from Thankful Thursday. The total amount raised each week isn't always the same, but the goal is to make as much money as possible for these great organizations and help as many people as we can along the way.

Most everyone has a smartphone these days, and the calendar feature makes it easy to set reminders. So, head to your calendar app and mark Thursdays beginning September 14 at 5 pm until Thursday, November 16, for Thankful Thursday.

When you enter the doors at 5 pm, you're a part of the night's festivities.

• When you walk in, those 21+ will get a wristband. You can get a complimentary Tito's Cocktail and a chance at a prize in the bottle draw.
• You can buy your 50/50 tickets $1/per ticket or 6 for $5
• Of course, we'll be selling ducks for 'Chuck the Duck' for $10/per duck
• The special 'Luck of the Draw' tickets will be for sale for $10/per ticket
• Make sure you check out every item up for LIVE AUCTION and order dinner while having a drink from the bar.
• We'll begin the live auction sharply at 6:30 pm.

Thursday nights used to be a night to watch Seinfeld, Friends, and E.R.; now, Thursday nights are all about community and giving back to organizations from the Casper area. This Spring, we have ten organizations working tirelessly to assemble their auction items and put their Thankful Thursday plan together.
