As most of you already know, Japan continues to suffer from one of the worst natural, environmental, and nuclear disasters in history.  In light of these catastrophic events, some of your favorite country musicians have lent their voices to a new benefit album, Songs For Japan.

Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum have joined Lady Gaga, Eminem, Beyoncé, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Norah Jones, and Justin Bieber for the record, which is now available for download on iTunes MTV is reporting that proceeds from the compilation will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The artists, along with their record labels and publishers, have waived all of their royalties to ensure that the Japanese Red Cross Society receives as much support as possible.  iTunes has stated that it too will donate its proceeds from the worldwide distribution of the album.
