I've loved baseball since I was a kid, and seeing the game played in person was a great experience. They call baseball America's pastime for a reason. It's a great way to spend time with family and friends, relaxing with a cold beer, hot dog, peanuts, and Cracker Jacks while leaving your worries at the gate.

America's pastime is back in Casper, as the Casper Spuds are back for season two. The season opener will be tomorrow evening against the Spearfish Sasquatch at Mike Lansing Field, with the first pitch at 6:30.

The season may officially begin tomorrow, but today, you can meet and greet the players and coaches who will make up the 2024 roster at The Range at 5150.

Not only is today the meet and greet, but the team store will be open from noon to 5 pm today and tomorrow so that you can get your 2024 Spuds apparel and buy your 2-for-1 tickets.

Last August, the Spuds' season ended in defeat, so this year, they are beginning the season with a chip on their shoulders and are ready to get back on the field. For the next couple of months, you'll have plenty of opportunities to head out to the ballpark and cheer the Spuds on to victory.
