As we prepare for the release of the new Country Music-based motion picture, Country Strong; we couldn't help but remember another one of the greats.

Coal Miner's Daughter was based on Loretta Lynn's autobiography of the same name, and features outstanding performances by Tommy Lee Jones, Levon Helms, Beverly D'Angelo, and an Oscar-winning turn by Sissy Spacek.

The film recently turned 30 and is definitely worth a trip to Butcher Hollow.
