If the pictures are any indication, a good time was had by all. Natrona County Law Enforcement Agencies held their annual "Shop With A Cop" event this past weekend, with kids teaming up with officers to shop for holiday gifts, including gifts for themselves and other family members.

According to the Casper Police Department Facebook page, 289 kids participated this year, each receiving $60.00 to spend on whatever they chose.

Sgt. Jeff Bullard with the Casper Police Department said for the officers, "Shop With A Cop" is one of their favorite events of the year. "We're always about safety and keeping people in our community safe but this is just a different way to give back to our community and make connections, especially with the kiddos, and have a positive impact on their lives."

From the CPD Facebook page:

"We would like to thank Wal-Mart for being a major sponsor in this community activity. Oil City Auto Club, Wyoming Bail Agency and other anonymous donors contributed an additional $2,295.00 to this year’s Shop with a Cop! CPD would like to thank everyone who helped out with this awesome event and also those who donated money! Merry Christmas!"
