Now that Fall is officially here, the Fall festivities are rolling out fast. We're not quite at October yet, but Casper's first Oktoberfest is happening on Saturday, September 26.

Stahoo's Brewery and Taproom will hold its 3rd Annual Oktoberfest with a full day of fun, food, and beer. For the occasion, Stahoo's owner and brewer Jim Gleason has some sudsy tricks up his sleeve. Each year, Jim brews a special Oktoberfest Beer and says the 2026 version is "Delish!" It's available on tap or in six-packs at the brewery now, and obviously will be available all day on Saturday.

Jim and Heidi at Stahoo's strive to give Casper special events that you won't get at most other places in town, with their Paczkis for Paczkis Day; pie on PI Day; on St. Patrick's Day, they serve up corned beef and cabbage, of course, their fantastic gyros from the Stahoo's Gyro Bus; and on Oktoberfest, they strive to offer Casper an authentic German Oktoberfest experience.

According to Jim, sharing both his and Heidi's family traditions with Casper is important to them.

Heidi's Family, on both sides, were German. She really wanted to celebrate Oktoberfest with some traditional elements. Casper was missing that.

The Oktoberfest celebration will begin at 3 p.m. and roll through the afternoon and evening. You can grab a cold Oktoberfest, or one of their other beers on tap. You can munch on traditional German grub, like Beer Brats and Kraut.

There will be Keg Tossing, Keg Bowling, and you can show off your beer stein-holding skills.
