Record Setting Thankful Thursday Helps Seton House

Thankful Thursday has two new records to be proud of.  The first is the largest amount raised in a single evening to date and the other is the highest amount raised on a single item.

At last weeks Thankful Thursday, the great folks from Seton house brought a huge amount of  great live auction items and the crowd in attendance scooped them up.

From prints to custom items made by some of the children who depend on Seton House, the list of items was amazing.  As the auction got underway, there was a point where I thought we'd never get through the complete list of items.

When we got to one item - a chance to go to the PBR at the Casper Events Center, with VIP access to the My Country 95.5 Pit Party and a behind the shutes tour - the item raised $3200 - setting a new single item donation record.  Our thanks to Ken and Bobbi Milne!

When we reached the end of the evening we had set a new record for the total amount of money raised on a single evening - $10, 905 for the folks at Seton House.

To date, we have now raised over $71,000 for charities that support Casper and the local community.  But, we are far from being done!
