Sandhill Crane Takes on Yellowstone Bear (and Wins)

You don't see this everyday. A sandhill crane got ticked at a Yellowstone bear and took it on. Shockingly, the crane ended up winning this battle.

I saw this trending on Digg. It appears the video was captured by Judy Lehmberg. According to the description, this Yellowstone bear got a little too close to the sandhill crane's nest. Then, this happened.

Never underestimate the fury of an angry bird. Sandhill cranes are the Chuck Norris of the feathered world. They will take on just about anything or anyone if they're mad enough just like this gator learned.

Even a car is no match for a sandhill crane that feels threatened. Seriously, these are manly birds.
