Rocky Mountain Oncology gears up for the 8th annual Wyoming Women’s Expo to take place Oct. 5th and 6th at the Casper Events Center. During the expo, Rocky Mountain Oncology will be providing free health screenings taking place from 9:00am-1:00pm on Saturday October 6th. All of the women who participate in 2 or more of the screenings will be entered to win one of three prizes donated by Wyoming Athletic Club, Deadwood Gulch Resort and Sesame Street Live!

Health screenings provided by Rocky Mountain Oncology will include: head and neck, skin and breast. These lifesaving screenings will take place in private quarters with the health care professionals of the organization.

In partnership with the Susan G. Komen foundation, Rocky Mountain Oncology will be providing breast health education and have registration forms available for the “Screen, Scan, Survive” program which offers vouchers for free mammograms to uninsured and underinsured women over the age of 40.

The program also has funding to provide diagnostic breast health services to uninsured and underinsured women. “Screen, Scan, Survive” is available to women who qualify throughout the state of Wyoming.

Back again this year is the Ta Ta Trot Breast Cancer Awareness 5k walk/run on Saturday Oct. 6th! This fun run will benefit the Wyoming Foundation of Cancer Care and the Wyoming cancer patients that it supports. The foundation works to help ease the financial burden that is associated with a cancer diagnosis including support in transportation, meals, and more.

Early Ta Ta Trot registration is still available for $25.00 which includes a tee-shirt and registration is also available at the event for just $30.00! All entrants are entered into a drawing for an Ipad that will be given out at the end of the day! Participants can register by visiting rockymountianoncology.com or by calling Rocky Mountain Oncology at 307-233-4786.
