Nearly two months after an outbreak of tornadoes swept through Alabama and other states, a Casper, Wyoming radio crew went to check out the damage. Donovan Short from KISS 104.7 FM went to Alabama to visit family and saw the damage that remained after the news crews were long gone.

Brad Paisley has always had a soft spot for Alabama – both the band and the state – and now he's coming to the aid of people in the south who have had their lives turned upside down by the devastating tornados there.

Alabama had it all!  A distinct country sound all their own, a lead guitarist with a perm, a hippy for a drummer, and two cousins who grew dynamite beards,  that made for some of the best music we could have ever hoped to hear in the eighties and early nineties.

According to cmt.com, Rihanna has been confirmed to perform "California King Bed" during the ACM Awards with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.

If Brad Paisley does nothing but just continue to do what he's been doing...he's going to have another great year!  He turned last year's "H2O Tour" and accompanying water extravaganza into the hottest event of the summer and then parlayed that success into his "H2O Frozen Over Tour" during the winter months.

Lionel Richie is going country.  Actually, he's been there before.  He wrote the song Deep River Woman, and performed it with Alabama.  He also composed Kenny Roger's huge hit, Lady. So it's fitting with the increasingly growing popularity of the genre, that Lionel will have a new duets album for us this summer with many a favorite country star.
