NASCAR's Kevin Harvick was surprised to find his race car was damaged while he was attending the drivers' meeting prior to Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup AAA Texas 500.

Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski are in an epic points battle running one and two in points for the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup. At the end of the AAA Texas 500 it was Jimmie Johnson getting the checkered flag only .808 seconds in front of Keselowski.

Some call Jimmie Johnson "Mr. Martinsville", and he proved it Sunday by getting his 7th win at the track. That ties him for wins there with Rusty Wallace, and teammate Jeff Gordon.  This victory gives Johnson a two point lead in the chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

All of the race fans that turned out at Kansas Motor Speedway saw one of the most action packed NASCAR races of the season, and Matt Kenseth got his third win for the 2012 season, and his second inside the Chase for the Cup.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced yesterday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, that he will be sitting out the next two weeks of racing due to side affects from two recent concussions.

Any NASCAR fan knows that when they race at Talledega, there is always "The Big One",  A huge wreck that takes most of the cars out of the race and fans even wait with great anticipation for this to happen.

This past weekend at  GEICO 400 at Chicagoland on Sunday, NASCAR Driver Tony Stewart, who apparently has a pre-race ritual where he grabs someone’s behind for good luck, managed to get Kevin Harvick’s wife as his victim. This isn't the first time he's done it either...

The 54th running of the Daytona 500 was a record setting race. Not only due to race delay, but also for the total length of time it took to get the race in the books. Some firsts were good and some were not - like Juan Pablo Montoya crashing into a jet blower truck on lap 160.

Like millions of NASCAR fans around the world, I spent Sunday trying to wait out the rain.  Watching rain soaked interviews, awkward banter between commentators and race officials in the hopes that the Great American Race would get the green flag.  But it was all for not.
