Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are forever linked not by their blonde hair or their cosmetic contracts or their country tunes, but by those Forbes lists! The duo both appear on Forbes’ recently released Top Earning Women in Music list.

Swift placed second on the overall list, behind only Lady Gaga, who topped it. Swift’s combined earnings totaled around $45 million, courtesy of her mega-successful, guest-list littered ‘Speak Now’ tour, the album of the same name, her ‘Wonderstruck’ fragrance, her CoverGirl contract and more.

Underwood landed at No. 7 on the list, raking in $20 million in income. Underwood has multiple revenue streams, including a gig as an Olay pitchwoman.

Swift and Underwood also placed on the Forbes list of Best Paid Celebrities Under 30, which was released earlier this year.

There are worse lists they could be on, right? Such as those  “What was she thinking?” fashion columns in tabloids. In all seriousness, it’s certainly good (and lucrative) to be Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Congrats to both ladies for having terrific years on the financial fronts and for making another Forbes list.
