The driver of a commercial truck suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning after his vehicle collided with a road grader which had stopped in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 near Glenrock.

Sgt. Jeremy Beck of the Wyoming Highway Patrol told K2 Radio News that the grader had a mechanical issue and was forced to stop. The driver of the grader got out of the vehicle and was standing on the shoulder of the roadway when the collision occurred.

An ambulance responded to the scene but no one needed to be transported for medical treatment.

A hazardous materials crew was notified, as some oil ended up on the road surface.

Traffic was blocked and had to be diverted, slowing travel to a crawl while emergency responders worked the scene.
