Casper will likely see a few inches of snow accumulation through Wednesday evening as a slow-moving storm system makes its way across the state.

The National Weather Service predicts Casper will see two to four inches of snow, according to a winter weather advisory issued Tuesday afternoon. Casper Mountain is expected to see three to six inches of accumulation.

Wind chill values could fall as low as 20 degrees below zero. Frostbite could result on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

The advisory applies to Casper Mountain; lower elevations of Natrona County including Casper; the Green Mountains and the Rattlesnake Range. It will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
