Wyoming Coaches Association Hall of Fame Inductee-Don Julian
Don Julian has enjoyed some fantastic seasons as a head football coach at the Wyoming high school level and it was only a matter of time before he was inducted into the Wyoming Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Julian ran the Riverton program from 1993 through 2001 with 4 state championships to his credit. The Wolverines won 3 consecutive state titles in 3A from 1997-99 and went undefeated in 2 of those seasons. He also won a state championship in 1994. In his tenure at Riverton, Julian's teams made the playoffs in every season but one.
His legacy continued at Sheridan where he was the head coach in football from 2007-2017 and picked up 5 more state titles at the 4A level. His teams won all the marbles in 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016, and 2017. His combined record in those championship years was 56-4 and missed the playoffs just once in his tenure. Julian also laid the groundwork for an additional 3 state titles for the Broncs after he left the sidelines. In addition to all that. Julian was Sheridan's athletic director for 15 years.
