PhotoFest: Casper Volleyball Tournament

The Casper Invitational Volleyball Tournament brought a huge group of teams from multiple classifications to the Ford Center on Friday and Saturday. The arena was filled with enthusiasm and intensity and on Saturday, the top 8 teams from pool play went to the Gold Bracket and the next 8 to the Silver Bracket. The same format was used for the JV teams as well.

In the Gold Bracket, Laramie, the #1 ranked team in 4A got by Kelly Walsh in 3 sets 25-11, 22-25, and 15-11. Laramie got to that point with a semi-final win over Thunder Basin 2-0 and KW advanced out of the semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Campbell County. Douglas, Evanston, Riverton, and Rock Springs were the other 4 teams in the Gold Bracket,

Cheyenne East won the Silver Bracket with a 2 sets to one win over Cheyenne Central 22-25, 25-18, and 15-8. East made it to the final with a 2-0 win over Big Horn and Central beat Sheridan in the other semi-final match. Natrona, Rawlins, Cheyenne South, and Worland were the other 4 teams in that Silver Bracket.
