Join The Mother’s Day Brunch For A Good Cause In Wyoming
Finding the perfect, unique way to celebrate mothers on Mother's Day can be tough. Sure, for most moms, a card and a little family time are all they want. Other moms expect a little more put into 'HER' day, and if you don't do that, you're going to hear about it for a long time.
One way you can make Mother's Day special this year is by taking your mom to celebrate with the hardworking men and women from the Salt Creek Emergency Services in Midwest, WY. On Sunday, May 10, the crew will be hosting a buffet-style brunch for families, and the price will be extremely affordable.
Here's a breakdown of what it will cost you from 11-2 pm on Sunday, May 10:
- All moms eat free
- Dads and kids 10 and up are $10
- Kids 5-9 are $5
- Kids 4 and under eat free
Here's the part mom will really love: all of the proceeds from the day go into the general fund for the Salt Creek Emergency Services. Yep, you can treat mom to a meal or an experience while also helping support the volunteers at SCES.
Since the station is staffed by volunteers, maintaining and repairing trucks, upgrading worn-out fire and other emergency gear, and supplying necessary supplies for future events and fundraisers are expensive.
The station is the closest emergency services unit for the northern area of Natrona County, southern Johnson County, and southwestern Campbell County. Without them, those in an emergency or other agencies needing assistance would have to wait a long time for help to arrive. By helping raise funds, you're contributing to the safety of many Wyomingites.
