Wyoming is home to many animals, some of which are pretty dangerous.

The obvious ones are bears, mountain lions, and rattlesnakes.

What are some of the others on the list?

Moose

Bison

Wolf

Dog

Cow

I know, I know. It doesn't seem possible that a dog or a cow could be considered dangerous, but they can be.

Studies show that dogs are responsible for more human injuries than many types of wild animals. There are more than 4.5 million dog bite incidents worldwide each year. Luckily, very few result in death. The odds of dying from a dog bite are 1 in 53,843.

The second animal on that list that doesn't seem likely is the cow. You may be surprised to learn that there are over 20 people who are killed by cows every year. Reports say that there were about 48 fatal bear attacks in the United States between 2000 and 2017.

Who'd a thunk that those cows you see when you're driving down the road were more likely to cause an issue, an injury, or death than a big grizzly?

We're not saying that bears aren't big, bad, and dangerous. It's just not as likely to come into contact with one as it is a cow or a dog.

Now that you're worried about cows being so dangerous, let's make them seem cuddly and cute again. Check out this video of cows licking a cat, and boom, cows are cute again.
