Casper's Best Chicken Wings: Where To Find Them

I love hot chicken wings, and have since the first time I went to a Hooters restaurant during my junior year of high school. In college, we had wings two or three times a week, and I haven't stopped ordering and seeking out the best of the best on my journey through life.

The good old days of $.10 wings on Tuesday, or even $.25 wing specials are well past us, and ordering wings can be just as expensive as ordering a full meal. So, if I order wings and they're horrible, it's likely I'll never order them there again. I really enjoy restaurants that take pride in serving wings. When they're confident in the wings, they're probably going to be pretty good.

You may not know this, but Casper has really great LOCAL options for wings. I know there are chain restaurants here known for their wings, and I like those, but I'm talking tried-and-true, Wyoming-based restaurants with wings worth ordering.

Here are my Top 5 Casper chicken wing locations (in no particular order):

Sanford's Grub & Pub:
- I'm a huge fan of really hot wings; if you can make me cry and snot run, I'm in. If you like heat, the Thermonuclear wings here will get your motor running. The wings are also smoked.
Wyoming Hot Wings:
- Remember what I said earlier about being confident in your wings? If it's in the name, you know they have to be great wings. When you walk into WHW, you know what to order.
The Office Bar and Grill:
- $1 wing on Wednesday is a great mid-week stop at the Office. Plus, if your wife or husband asks where you've been, you can tell them the Office without lying.
HQ BBQ:
- I know it's tough to order wings when their menu has brisket and pulled pork on it, but trust me when I say "order the wings!" If you can imagine the smoky flavor you get from their smoked pork or beef, you'll love it on their wings with your favorite sauce.
Frosty's Bar and Grill:
- You know you've gone in after work for a cold one after a long day. Frosty's is a Casper hot spot, with killer wings. Dark bar, cold beer, and wings will set you free, my friends.

As I said, I'm a wing guy from way back. I've had wings all over the country, but Casper's wing game is great.
