Casper College is hosting the Sixth Annual Oxfam Interactive Hunger Banquet on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Empey Studio Theatre.

Sponsored by the Casper College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Casper College Center for Learning through Service, admission to the event is free and open to all, but a ticket to the event must be obtained by Monday, Nov. 17. Those attending the banquet will draw a card to determine which dinner they will be served – a first, second, or third world meal. The object of the interactive educational dinner is to give people a chance to become educated about what hunger is like in first, second, and third world countries with a focus on the hunger situation locally.

Banquet tickets are available by calling 307-268-2602 or 307-268-2513 or by stopping by The Center for Learning through Service, Room 132 in Liesinger Hall or the Wold Physical Science Center, Room 132. Both buildings are located on the Casper College campus.

Participants are encouraged to bring a donation of one nonperishable food item. The Empey Studio Theatre is located in the Gertrude Krampert Theatre Complex on the Casper College campus.
