Casper Kids Will Sleep Great Thanks To Slumberland Furniture
A few key moments in a child's life will stick with them for quite a while.
Learning to ride a bike.
Losing their first tooth.
Their favorite blankie or pillow.
A stuffed animal.
First big boy/ girl bed.
Casper's locally owned and operated Slumberland Furniture is helping 40 needy children achieve their first big boy/ girl bed milestone.
It's time for the annual 'Homes for the Holidays' event on Saturday, December 7. Volunteers from the Child Development Center of Natrona County will team up with Slumberland Furniture to distribute 40 mattresses and 40 bedframes to Casper kids sleeping on the floor.
Slumberland Furniture opened in 2011, and owners Tony and Michelle Hager have always made giving back to the community a primary focus. Since mattresses play a significant role in their business, they knew exactly how they impact families across Casper.
In a statement, Tony Hager said:
Our business is built around mattresses, so we feel this is a meaningful way to give back to the community that has supported us over the years. It’s incredibly special to see the joy on a child’s face when they receive their very first ‘big kid’ bed.
Through the years, the Hagers and Slumberland have partnered with Casper-based organizations to identify families needing beds. This year happens to be Child Development Center, a Natrona County organization that provides services for kids ages birth through twenty-one.
Michelle Hager says:
Every child deserves a comfortable place to sleep. This event is about more than just giving; it’s about creating a lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.
Community members and organizations are encouraged to join in the spirit of giving by supporting initiatives like "Homes for the Holidays" or reaching out to learn how they can help year-round.
