Oh boy, er...joy!  That's right...I think.  In case you haven't figured it out, it's that time of year again.  Christmas time!  You ever notice that "that time of the year" happens earlier and earlier each year?  If this economy doesn't pick up soon, we'll be hearing next year's first holiday shopping ads immediately following Labor Day.  I joke, but we all know it's possible.

This is around the time that I also start questioning my choice of professions.  Don't get me wrong, I love what I do.  Talking for a living is what I was made for.  It just doesn't pay as much as I keep telling the boss it should.  The negotiations continue. :)

Now, before I come off sounding like a complete scrooge, know that I love Christmas.  I love the lights, the excitement, the treats, the atmosphere...even the music.  I just don't love it in October.  It's too early to be reminded that now that I've finally paid off last year's Christmas, I can start all over again.  Geez, wasn't it only 12 short months ago!?  And no, I haven't started my holiday shopping yet.  Bah Humbug.  (Oops, I'm slipping!)

Now that I've vented a little, Merry Christmas!!  Ho Ho Ho!  Santa's coming!  God, I'm po!  And because it's never too early, here's Cowboy Troy's top 11 favorite Christmas songs for 2011.
