The Denver Nuggets have been on a roll this season. They are currently in third place for the Western Conference, one win behind the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors.

Last night felt like a playoff game as the Nuggets hosted LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Although the Nuggets have been having an astounding season, the Lakers did hand Denver their first defeat of the season, breaking a four game winning streak in Los Angeles, October 25th, 2018. The Nugs got some major revenge at home last night with a 117 - 85 victory over the Lakers. The 31 point victory broke a franchise record against the Lakers. The previous record was 29 points, which happened back in 1993.
