As Powerful As Magneto

A cop in Illinois ran into trouble during a burglary investigation at a doctor's office after he encountered an unexpected accomplice - the MRI machine tucked away in a back room.

The officer was poking around in the office when he walked into the room where the machine was housed, and had its magnetic field pull the gun right out of his hands. Because there's no way to turn off the magnetism, the gun stayed stuck in place and became too dangerous to move, leading officials to evacuate the entire building.

The burglary investigation continues while the machine's makers figure out how to get the weapon dislodged. (NBC Chicago)

When Male Strippers Attack

In England, a male stripper was heckled by women so badly that he snapped, dove into the crowd and started a fight.

Leon Zbudowskyj was a last-minute replacement for a hunky model that ended up being a no-show.

The women, angry that the guy they came to see wasn’t going to hit the stage, booed poor Leon and ripped on him without mercy.

According to one woman in attendance, Leon came out with no music, no routine and – worst of all – no six-pack.

"He looked like he had been hit in the face with a pan,” she said.  (CapitalBay.com)

Drunk Moms On Ice

A Florida woman is facing child endangerment charges after leaving her small children alone so she could spend some quality time with another friend, Jim Beam.

Alisha Esch admits that she left her little ones, aged three years and nine months, to fend for themselves while she went to a friend's house to get wasted. The 20-year-old, who's not legally allowed to drink alcohol, defended herself by saying that she went home twice during her binge to check on the kids and get them ready for bed.

Her dad, who dropped by unexpectedly to say hello, called cops after finding the tots in distress. He told authorities his daughter had a drinking problem and needed help. He has temporary custody of the children. (WPTV)
