A Georgia man died in a head-on collision near Green River early Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Douglas Wolfgram, 34, was driving a pickup eastbound on Wyoming Highway 374 when for unknown reasons it crossed the center line into the westbound lane, according to the news release from Patrol Sgt. Kyle McKay.

The pickup collided head-on with a semi-truck and entered the right of way south of the highway.

The semi-truck stopped on the right of way on the north side of the highway.

Wolfgram of Jakin, Ga., was not wearing his seat belt.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for treatment.

This marked the 108th fatality on Wyoming’s highways in 2017 compared to 89 in 2016, 113 in 2015, and 114 in 2014.
